About the client:

Over the past forty years, Our Client has grown to become the UK’s leading supplier of aluminium systems, building a reputation both for the quality of our products and for our product innovation, design and technical expertise. In that time, they have grown rapidly and invested heavily in our plant, machinery and people to ensure they provide the very best products, service and support.

All of their systems are manufactured from start to perfect finish at our purpose-built 60,000m² plant in the South West of England. The most modern and efficient of its kind in the UK, the plant is home to our four state-of-the-art aluminium extrusion presses, four dedicated paint lines and finishing facilities. This means we have complete control of the whole process, ensuring every profile we manufacture meets our exacting quality and performance standards.

 

Shift Pattern:

Four on, four off shift pattern.

07:00-19:00

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain the security of the premises, including conducting regular patrols.
  • Handle access control procedures, verifying identification, and issuing visitor passes.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to all security incidents, including alarms, emergencies, and potential threats.
  • Report any suspicious activities, hazards, or violations of security protocols to the appropriate authorities.
  • Assist with emergency procedures and evacuation protocols, ensuring the safety of all individuals on-site.
  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, security checks, and any relevant information.
  • Collaborate with the wider security team and other departments to uphold a safe and secure environment.

 

Requirements:

  • A valid front-line SIA Licence
  • Previous experience in a similar security role is desired but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail, ensuring all security protocols are followed.
  • A proactive and vigilant approach to security, with the ability to assess and respond to potential risks.
  • A professional and customer-oriented mindset, dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
