Since our inception over 27 years ago, we’ve consistently strived for the best for everyone involved with Churchill Support Services. From our valued clients and customers, to every single member of staff who makes Churchill tick, we imbue that sense of passion and enthusiasm across all we do.
Often, that can be difficult to quantify. While we’re exceptionally proud of all we’ve accomplished in our tenure, from our sustained position as the #1 ACS-approved security provider to our keen sense of a People First approach best exemplified by our recent mental health initiative, there’s very rarely opportunity for that to be externally validated.
Today is one of those seldom-seen opportunities. We’re incredibly proud to announce we’ve earned a spot on Infologue’s list of the Top 100 Security Companies, at an immensely impressive #50. This is based off annual turnover, meaning that the higher you rank, the more you’ve earned in that calendar year.
Our position this year means a superb rise of 4 positions compared to last year, and it’s a firm reaffirmation of what we’ve all worked so hard to achieve.
But why is this such a monumental achievement, and what does it mean going forward? Let’s place a spotlight on our latest achievement, and paint a picture of just where that’s likely to take us in the future.
Having been a trusted source on security company standings since they began their annual rankings over 19 years ago, Infologue have significant presence in our industry. Collating news stories, cutting-edge security technology and industry editorials, they seek to offer an unbiased overview of the security sector.
Not only is this the external validation that’s so often rare in the security industry, it’s also a concrete guarantee that we’re taking significant strides in the right direction from a profitability perspective. The list is based upon an estimated annual turnover, and we report honestly so as to ensure that we’re ranked fairly amongst our closest competitors.
While major industry players and household names often find themselves at the top of the leaderboards, there’s substantial competition as we move further down, and true innovation is essential to progress.
This is the crux of why these rankings is so integral to what we do, and why we’re naturally keen to shout about our newfound Top 50 position, alongside our exceptional rise by 4 places. It’s tangible proof of our continued ability to innovate, to revolutionise and to progress in an industry that needs the forward-thinking attitude we hold at the forefront of all we do.
It provides some much needed perspective on where we are and where we’re going, as well as what it means to be in the position we’ve earnt.
For our clients new and old, it’s only set to improve the service they receive. The position on the list shows that what we’re doing is making a marked difference, and that, by continuing to refine the exceptional levels of quality we’ve become synonymous with, we’ll keep seeing the growth we’re enjoying at the moment.
We’re always going to place our clients and our colleagues at the fore, and part of that is consistently understanding and honing what we’re able to offer. That’s something we discussed in much greater depth in our own, objective list of the biggest security companies in the UK – turnover and profits doesn’t necessarily equate to a better service or a more trustworthy provider.
It’s this mindset we take forward, especially given the successes we’ve seen. It’s abundantly clear that the way we’ve always done things, with our core virtues as the driving force behind each and every decision, is a recipe for both present and future successes.
While it’s still an approach we’ll continue to work on, and thoroughly modernise as the world around us changes, the core impetus will never change. We will always be a People First business, where everyone not only matters, but feels like they can be heard, and that they can contribute to the successes we’ve seen.
