About the role:

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Technical Sales Manager to join our team. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales, this role has become available due to our exceptional growth and success. If you have a strong background in Security sales and possess a technical understanding of Electronic Security Systems; including CCTV Systems, Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms and Access Control, we want to hear from you. You’ll be primarily based at our Head Office in Chorley, Lancashire, but you’ll also have the chance to travel to various sites across the UK. Plus, enjoy the flexibility of hybrid working after successfully completing your probationary period.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their specific security needs and propose electronic security packages tailored to their requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on electronic security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarm systems, ensuring clients are well-informed about the best solutions available.
  • Travel to multiple sites to conduct thorough assessments, engage with clients, and understand their security challenges and requirements.
  • Develop and present customised electronic security solutions that address client needs
  • Identify and develop new opportunities for enhancing electronic security measures at existing client sites
  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), demonstrating strong sales acumen.
  • Work closely with the bid manager to prepare and submit tender documents, ensuring that all technical specifications and client requirements are accurately addressed.
  • Strengthen and maintain strong business relationships with existing clients, providing ongoing support and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor activities to provide clients with marketing leading electronic security solutions and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience within a senior sales position
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience within Security Systems
  • An advanced technical understanding of Security Systems including installation and maintenance.
  • A previous track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Full clean UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points and own vehicle
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
